A couple exteriors.

Timing didn’t work out for me to get to the interiors of these churches, but I still thought it made sense to at least get the exteriors.

    Hey Eric,
I too am a photographer from Syracuse. I was thinking about getting into some architectural photography of a lot of abandoned buildings in the Syracuse Area. I love a lot of your shots of churches. Beautiful colors with the HDR. I was wondering what lens you used for both exteriors and interiors and what lens you would recomend to start with?

    Thanks!

Thanks for checking in and for the kind words! I’m a big fan of three lenses right now. My Nikkor 35mm f/1.8. Fast, prime, does a great job and it was inexpensive. Nikkor 18-200 VR f/3.5-5.6. Kit lens, nice that it captures a pretty wide range. Does well in tight spaces and stays sharp when you have to zoom. And Tokina’s 11 – 16mm f/2.8. I use this for most of the architecture shots as it really captures an entire room, especially in the churches I’ve been shooting. Each have found their place in various subjects I shoot.
